 Traveling Time.....

Marc was asked to play in the LPGA pro-am tournament.

They gave him tickets to the real LPGA tournament.
It was a lot of fun.

Beautiful Oregon summer day

While down at the coast we took a walk to
a 800 - 1200 year old “tree”

Wow !  When we finally arrived
It was incredible !

Also in Rockaway was the original “pronto pup” stand
Incredible – the best ever !!

Heading back in Tillamook, the Tillamook Cheese factory

The coast was so beautiful

Great weather at the beach….

After we left the beach, we went to Champoeg State park
Spent a fun week there.

Next we headed back to John & Sheri’s for the next week.

Fun time there……

John & Sheri took us to the Siderius winery for
a members BBQ dinner…..beautiful location.

Next….we are heading up to Brandon’s
for about 10 days.

Summer is Here !!

On our anniversary, we took off for Puerto Vallarta
with Pat, Rollie, Rollies daughter and her husband,
Rob and Leslie (just got married a week ago) and Phoenix friends.

We stayed the first week at the Barcelo
(about 45 minutes south of town)

One night we ate at the Italian speciality restaurant.
Better food than the buffet but still not the best.

 

We were right on the beach

After one week, everyone went home but we stayed for
another week at our time share in town.

Also right on the beach…this was not all inclusive.  Restaurant
and home cooked food…MUCH BETTER!

At night we would have thunder, lightening and a rain shower.
The next morning, it as all dried out like it had never happened.

The marina was beautiful…Boats from all over the world.

One day, we went downtown to the Malecon
Beautiful as always.

We decided to stop for a drink

Beautiful day…but very hot.
It was a wonderful two weeks…..but now back to home.

Three days after returning, we had Tiny (our trailer)
all packed and ready to head north to the Portland area.

A pretty quiet trip till be got about 75 miles to go.
We pulled into a rest stop an noticed this huge bulge on Tiny’s tire.
Very strange…. Mike changed the tire an off we went.

After two hours at the tire shop in Salem, we had a new spare and
all is well.

We were quite lucky….. It wasn’t 118 degrees
It was Oregon..… but it was not raining.
      We were in a safe location
        (not on the edge of the road)

At Marc & Maria’s now…….. looking forward to this coming month.

Summer is HERE !!…..

Our next door neighbor’s house is delivered

Looking good !!

Weather is getting hot but we still got in a camping trip
over to El Centro with Rick & Gina

It is hot at home (110 degrees) so we decided
to head up into the mountains. About 2 1/2 - 3 hours from here is
Julian, California…… a cute little tourist town.

Nice RV park and 25 - 30 degrees cooler than Yuma.

We went camping with Jim & Joyce and their new little LuLu puppy.

What fun!

 

Now we are getting ready for two weeks in Mexico.

We will be in Puerto Vallarta

Can’t wait!

Summer is on it’s way…..

Marc & Maria gifted us with an unexpected cruise to Alaska !

Flying into Seattle, we went very close to Mt Ranier

We met John & Sheri, old friends Ron & Jan as well as Pat & Rollie
for this great cruise

In Juneau, we visited the “Red Dog Saloon”, famous for their
Duck Fart drinks  (Mike had two)

Next we stopped at the Alaska Brewing Company

COLD !!   Ice everywhere……. The black dots on the ice
are seals..

Sawyer Glacier – Awesome…. So beautiful

In Sitka, we took a city historical tour…very interesting.

So much beauty in Alaska

April is over – Where did it go???
