We've Settled in the Sunshine - Mike & Janet - December 2023

It’s the Holiday Season !!

Pat & Rollie sold their pickup and trailer and have bought this Chrysler van
They are so happy.

Mike and Pat’s cousin and her fella came over for lunch.
It was great seeing them.

One evening, we drove out to the Foothills to see their Storybook Lane.

All these lights, it’s starting to feel like Christmas.

Not us – but someone is getting a great ride.

We got new floors.
I LOVE THEM!!!

Mike flew up to Portland and went on
a great weekend with the boys.

Arizona ! Back home again !

Beautiful Arizona Sunrise

The hummingbirds are glad we are home

And yes- it’s warm……

One evening, we had food trucks here in the park.

About 12 food trucks.
They were great… we loved the food!

This is Tiny - in an early morning sunrise.

We had our dining room carpet and the living room carpet
along with the kitchen bathroom linoleum all taken
out…

Wow ! We are so happy with the outcome.
The new floor is awesome!

As September comes to an end, we look forward
(at least I look forward) to my birthday month. 😊

We've Settled in the Sunshine - Mike & Janet - August 2023

We started August at Stub Stewart State Park –
by far the nicest State Park we have ever been to

After a strenuous 6 holes of golf (I rode in the cart)
We finished the evening with dinner at the Golf Club.

We have 2 Grand
Dogs….Duke and Enzo.

This is Mike’s broth-in-law’s show car – It’s a beauty!

After 4 days on the road – We have finally
arrived back home in Yuma.
They have had some terrible weather while we were gone.
First the remnants of a hurricane. Houses lost their roofs.
Many had damage.
Then 9 ½ hours of an electricity outage – in 117 degree heat!

All is quiet on our return. We had a wonderful time while in the Pacific Northwest.
3 months. We both loved spending time with family and friends. Already talking about
the next time we will all be together.
