I know it’s winter
in most of the US but it’s gorgeous here in Indio, California.
It’s 80 degrees and
not a cloud in the sky today.
My Grandaughter
Camryn, was inducted into the National Honor Society.
I am so proud of
her. She must have got it from her
grandmother – don’t you think?
Mike celebrated his
66th birthday this month….. I
guess I’m married to
an old man.(wink) We are so very blessed to have this wonderful life.

Super Bowl was a
great event at Outdoor Resorts.
We had a golf cart
tailgate party, a bocce ball tournament (we gave it a valiant effort)
and of course the game. It was an entire day of fun.
and of course the game. It was an entire day of fun.
We shared some
wonderful evenings with friends.
Off roading took us
to “Hotel California” This is an old rest
area built into the hills where hikers can get some shelter from the occasional
storms. It is actually quite elaborate
(for a shelter) Fun to see out in the middle of nowhere.
Valentines Day was
a great event here. We had a wonderful
dinner and dancing. The decorations were
outstanding – the appetizers were over the top.
Good times to
remember.
Another off-roading
trip took us into “Red Canyon” It was sooo
beautiful.
I think it may have
been my favorite trail yet.
Pat and I took our
2nd annual bike ride to Palm Springs. 25.7 miles.
We had a much
deserved lunch at Sherman’s Deli – It was long and tiring but we have decided
to make it a little longer next year!
Something to work towards.
Marilyn Monroe has
come to Palm Springs. This statue “Forever
Marilyn” is nearly 3 stories tall and it’s beautiful. This year would have been Marilyn’s 85th
birthday.
February has been
an outstanding month. So much going on
here at Outdoor Resorts - we are loving every minute.
